Coach Tyler Rodriguez
Program Director at East Coast Athletics. Seasoned basketball skills development trainer for the novice player to the experienced college level player. AAU Coaching experience for 6th grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade. “My main objective when training an individual or group is to get athletes to focus on two things that will change their game right away: confidence and mental toughness. The athletes need to be confident enough to use what we are working on in training; and they have to remain mentally tough to push themselves through the workouts and to keep pursuing their goals, no matter how rocky the path gets. I have coached 3 different AAU teams at East Coast Athletics. I coached the 12th grade AAU, the 8th grade AAU and the 6th Grade AAU. My goals when coaching are to make the team as successful as it can be and to make an impact on each player’s life, no matter how big or small.
